Hand-rolled gözleme, flatbread stuffed with white cheese or potato, is prepared on a saç griddle at the kitchen edge, and a generous Turkish breakfast plate with olives, honey, white cheese, and fresh tomatoes draws early-morning visitors before the hiking crowds build. The platform hovers close to the water surface, producing a constant sound of rushing water that cools the air in summer; canyon walls rising up to 150 metres on either side frame every meal.
