Best Time to Hike
Plan your hiking adventure for optimal conditions.
🌸 Spring
March-May: Hot and dry (avoid burning season Feb-March for air quality). Trail conditions are good but heat makes morning starts essential. Bring plenty of water.
☀️ Summer
June-October: Monsoon brings lush scenery but some trails become slippery and flooded. Waterfalls are spectacular. Mornings are often clear; afternoon showers possible.
🍂 Fall
October-November: Ideal conditions - post-rain greenery with improving weather. Excellent visibility for mountain views. Best month for Doi Inthanon trails.
❄️ Winter
November-February: Perfect hiking conditions with cool temperatures and clear skies. Doi Inthanon summit requires a warm jacket (temperature can drop to 4-8°C). Rhododendrons bloom December-February.
