Skywalk at King Power Mahanakhon

The King Power Mahanakhon Skywalk sits atop the 78-storey Mahanakhon Tower in the Silom district of Bangkok, which at 314 metres was the tallest building in Thailand when completed in 2018. The observation deck occupies the 74th to 78th floors and is operated by King Power, the duty-free retail conglomerate. The defining feature of the Skywalk is the outdoor glass-floor terrace at the 78th floor, positioned at 314 metres with transparent glass panels underfoot revealing the street grid of Bangkok more than 300 metres below — an experience that produces visible vertigo in most visitors even in calm weather conditions. An indoor deck at the 74th floor provides a more sheltered 360-degree panorama with display screens labelling Bangkok landmarks. The route to the glass floor passes through an immersive digital experience called 'The Edge Experience' where projection-mapped visuals and audio narrate Bangkok's story. At the 75th floor, an external open-air terrace with clear-panel barriers provides unrestricted views in all directions including toward Chao Phraya River, the Grand Palace, Silom's office towers, and the eastern suburbs. A cocktail bar and restaurant on the upper floors serve food and drinks at premium prices. The tower's distinctive pixelated facade — designed to resemble a building mid-construction with a section appearing cut away — is an architectural landmark visible from across central Bangkok. Admission for the standard observation deck and glass floor is around 880–1,080 baht for adults, bookable through the King Power website.
