Usa River is a pleasant satellite town 17 km east of Arusha at the base of Mount Meru, beloved for its lush gardens, boutique lodges, Shanga workshop, and relaxed atmosphere. The area has a strong concentration of Arusha's finest lodges and is the gateway to Arusha National Park's Ngurdoto Gate. An excellent base for the region.
