Often called the 'Little Ngorongoro', Ngurdoto Crater is an extinct volcanic crater within Arusha National Park whose floor is a protected swamp teeming with buffalo, warthog, and waterbuck. Visitors walk the rim for panoramic views; no descent into the crater is allowed, preserving it as a natural sanctuary.
