A series of seven shallow alkaline lakes within Arusha National Park, the Momella Lakes are renowned for their flamingo populations and diverse birdlife including pelicans, herons, and over 400 recorded species. Each lake has a slightly different mineral composition giving them different colours. Canoe safaris are available here.
