Peak tourist season with maximum crowds and prices. Mediterranean coast, Balearics, and Canaries are in full beach season. Madrid and Andalusia see extreme heat (38-42°C). Northern Spain stays pleasant at 20-25°C. July-August accommodation must be booked months ahead.
Fall
Months: September-November
Spain's finest travel season - summer heat fades, crowds thin, and prices drop. September retains beach weather on the Mediterranean (25-28°C sea temperature) while October brings harvest season in Rioja wine country and spectacular autumn foliage in the Pyrenees.
