Day-trip visitors from Lanzarote, visible across the narrow strait to the north, also stop in during the summer months. Corralejo's beach stretches several kilometres south of town into the Corralejo Natural Park dune system, and Waikiki Beach Bar's position near the town centre offers easy access on foot from the main resort zone.
