Hotel Es Salines is a boutique luxury hotel in the municipality of Sant Josep de sa Talaia in southern Ibiza, situated within the protected boundaries of the Ses Salines Natural Park and within walking distance of the famous Es Salines beach — one of the most fashionable stretches of sand on the island. The hotel occupies a converted 19th-century Ibizan farmhouse, or finca, and its architecture preserves the original whitewashed stone walls, exposed timber ceiling beams, and terracotta tile floors that characterise traditional island building. The 38 rooms and suites are distributed across the main farmhouse and several garden bungalows, all decorated in a natural palette of whites, creams, and earthy tones with locally sourced fabrics and handmade furniture. The surrounding gardens — planted with lavender, rosemary, fig trees, and saltflat-tolerant species that reflect the natural park environment — provide a calm counterpoint to the activity of the nearby beach. A large outdoor pool is the social centre of the property, set within the garden with sun terraces and a poolside service. The hotel restaurant draws its menu from Ibizan and broader Balearic culinary traditions, using local fish, vegetables, and salt harvested from the adjacent Las Salinas saltpans. The natural park location means that cycling routes connect the hotel directly to the beach and to the saltpan viewing areas, where flamingos can be observed during migration seasons. Es Salines beach itself — a kilometre walk or short cycle — is known for its shallow turquoise water and powdery sand, and the famous Jockey Club beach bar is located at the southern end. The hotel is roughly 12 kilometres from Ibiza Town and 10 kilometres from the airport.
