54 on Bath

54 on Bath is a boutique luxury hotel at 54 Bath Avenue in Rosebank, Johannesburg, Gauteng, South Africa. The hotel stands on a quiet residential-style street a short distance from the Rosebank Gautrain station and the Rosebank malls, which puts shops, restaurants, galleries and the Sunday rooftop market within easy reach. Sandton is a short drive north, and OR Tambo International Airport is reachable by Gautrain from Rosebank or by road. The property is a modern boutique hotel with a calm, upmarket feel, designed for guests who prefer a smaller building to a large corporate tower. Accommodation is offered as Luxury Rooms and Suites, with free Wi-Fi throughout. Amenities include a pool, a fitness centre and an on-site restaurant serving breakfast and other meals, and the setting is quieter than the main Oxford Road strip while remaining walkable to Rosebank's dining options. The restaurant and bar cater to both residents and outside visitors, and breakfast is a central part of the hotel's offer for business guests heading to meetings in Rosebank or Sandton. Service is business-oriented but personal, with staff able to arrange airport transfers, city tours and restaurant bookings. The hotel is used by corporate travellers, couples and leisure guests who want a comfortable base with a Gautrain connection. Rates of roughly R3,200 to R6,000 per night place it in the upper-mid to luxury bracket, generally below the international-brand five-star hotels in the same area. Guests should note that Rosebank is safer for walking by day than at night, and that the Gautrain and ride-hailing apps provide convenient onward transport. The hotel's location makes it a practical base for visiting Melrose Arch, Sandton, Soweto and the Apartheid Museum using a mix of rail and road transport.
