Warm, sunny, and relatively dry with the Harmattan wind bringing dusty haze from the Sahara in December-February. The best time for beaches, wildlife, and outdoor activities with comfortable temperatures and minimal rain.

Heavy tropical rainfall, particularly June-September when daily downpours are common and flooding can affect Freetown roads. Lush, green landscape with fewer tourists and significantly lower accommodation prices.

Harmattan
