Kingdom Centre is a skyscraper-based shopping mall on King Fahd Road in Al Olaya, central Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The mall occupies the base of the Kingdom Centre tower and is known for its luxury flagships, with more than 150 stores and a brand mix that leans toward international fashion, jewellery, perfume and watches rather than everyday goods. One floor is reserved for women only, a feature that distinguishes it from most malls. Vendors are mainly established brands, so authenticity is rarely a concern, and there are few souvenir trinkets compared with the old souqs. Prices are fixed and bargaining is not part of the culture here, though seasonal sales are common. Cards and mobile payments are accepted almost everywhere, and Saudi Arabia charges 15 percent VAT; tourist VAT-refund arrangements, where available, apply through participating retailers and should be confirmed at the till. The Sky Bridge viewing deck at the top of the tower, reported at SAR 69, offers views over the city and is a separate ticketed attraction. The atmosphere is polished and relatively calm outside weekend evenings, when families and office workers fill the corridors. Food options include a food court and sit-down cafes and restaurants, with meals from about SAR 40. Reported hours are Saturday to Thursday 09:00 to 23:00 and Friday from 13:00 to 23:00, with prayer-time closures of shops during the day, so visitors should verify before planning around them. The mall is a short ride from other Olaya shopping destinations and from many hotels in the district. Anchors include luxury boutiques, department-style fashion retailers and beauty counters, making it a good place to compare high-end brands in air-conditioned comfort, particularly during the summer heat when outdoor shopping is uncomfortable.
