Stonefield Estate Resort sits on a 26-acre former cocoa plantation in the hills south of Soufrière, approximately six kilometres from town with unobstructed sightlines to Petit Piton across the valley. The estate road climbs through dense tropical vegetation before opening onto a hillside property where colonial-era stone ruins — remnants of the plantation's working past — are integrated into the landscaping as heritage features rather than concealed or demolished.

Accommodation consists entirely of freestanding private villas, in one- and two-bedroom configurations, each with its own plunge pool set on a private terrace. Villas are furnished in plantation-house style with wooden shutters, four-poster beds, and outdoor showers. The Piton Suite commands the most direct and unobstructed views, while garden villas sit deeper within the cocoa and fruit tree canopy for greater privacy. There are no hotel-floor stacked units — all accommodation is spread across the hillside as separate cottages, which is a deliberate design choice suited to couples seeking genuine seclusion.

The estate's working organic gardens supply the restaurant, which serves farm-to-table Caribbean cuisine highlighting locally grown produce, fresh catch landed in Soufrière, and fruits harvested on-site. A hilltop infinity pool frames Petit Piton at eye level, particularly striking in the late afternoon light. A yoga pavilion on the upper terrace offers morning sessions and can be reserved privately for groups or couples. Spa services — massages, body wraps, and facials — are delivered in a dedicated treatment room and can also be arranged in-villa for additional privacy. The resort does not have a kids' club or structured group activities, making it explicitly oriented toward couples and adults who prioritise quiet and seclusion over resort programming.
