Qatar has an arid desert climate with extremely hot, humid summers and mild, pleasant winters. The country experiences almost no rainfall (averaging 70mm annually) with most precipitation falling November through March. Summer temperatures regularly exceed 45°C with high humidity from the Gulf making it feel even hotter. The pleasant winter season from November to March attracts the most visitors with comfortable temperatures of 14-24°C.

Brief spring transition from pleasant to hot. March is delightful for outdoor activities. April becomes warm. May marks the start of uncomfortable heat.
