W Doha

W Doha stands on The Pearl-Qatar, the artificial island development built on reclaimed land north of West Bay and connected to the mainland via the Lusail Expressway. The hotel opened in 2007 as one of the development's anchor properties, positioned adjacent to the Porto Arabia marina — a 12-kilometre promenade of boutiques, restaurants, and residences that forms The Pearl's social core. West Bay's central towers are visible across the water and approximately 15 minutes by car; Hamad International Airport is around 30 minutes.

The hotel's building is immediately recognisable on the Porto Arabia promenade: a curving white tower with bold angular podium structures, designed to place marina views across as many of the 281 rooms and suites as possible. The W brand's design signature — bold use of colour, statement furniture, and a deliberate rejection of conventional hotel formality — is expressed through floor-to-ceiling windows, curated art pieces throughout, and Bliss bath products as standard. Suite categories include a full range from Wonderful to the Extreme WOW Suite, the latter exceeding 280 square metres with a private terrace overlooking the marina.

COYA Doha, the Latin American concept restaurant from the London original, operates within the hotel as one of Doha's most prominent dining destinations, offering Peruvian-influenced cuisine alongside an entertainment programme on Wednesday and Thursday evenings. The WET pool deck is a rooftop venue combining a pool, bar, and DJ programming on selected afternoons and evenings, oriented toward a social rather than a resort-quiet atmosphere. The AWAY spa offers nine treatment rooms and a Turkish hammam. The fitness centre operates 24 hours. The surrounding Pearl-Qatar promenade provides walkable access to over 250 restaurants and retail boutiques without requiring a car.
