Mercado da Graça

Mercado da Graça is the historic public market of Ponta Delgada, São Miguel, named for the nearby Convento de Nossa Senhora da Graça. Construction on the original 19th-century market hall began in 1855 and finished in 1860, and for well over a century it has served as the working larder of the Azorean capital.
