Magic Water Circuit at Night
The 13 illuminated fountains of Lima's Magic Water Circuit create extraordinary long-exposure photography opportunities. The rainbow-colored water jets, the light shows choreographed to music, and the walk-through tunnel of water make for spectacular images after dark. Entry is cheap (PEN 5) and tripods are permitted.
San Francisco Convent Interior
The 17th-century Franciscan convent has a stunning Spanish-Moorish courtyard, an ornate baroque library, and the extraordinary catacombs below. Photography is permitted (without flash) throughout the guided tour, offering access to rarely seen colonial interiors.
Chorrillos Fish Market at Dawn
