Buses connect Cusco to major Peruvian cities. Cruz del Sur and CIVA are the main long-distance operators. The journey to Lima takes 20+ hours by bus (fly is recommended). Arequipa is 9-10 hours. Puno (Lake Titicaca) is 6 hours. Trains serve the Sacred Valley and Machu Picchu route only.
