Flights are tandem, meaning a licensed pilot flies with the passenger strapped into a shared harness, so no prior paragliding experience is required and the activity suits most fitness levels, though pilots generally set a minimum age and a maximum weight for safety, and expectant mothers or people with serious cardiac or spinal conditions are typically advised against flying. The paraglider wing and harness are provided by the pilot; passengers should wear closed athletic shoes and fitted clothing without loose scarves or skirts that could catch on the lines during launch or landing. Sessions at Kallar Kahar are flown by independent instructors registered with the Pakistan Hang Gliding and Paragliding Association (PHPA), alongside visiting operators such as the Lahore-based De Memory Makers, giving the activity a level of oversight through the national federation rather than fully informal operation.
