Hotel Epinal stands on Stiv Naumov street in central Bitola, North Macedonia's second-largest city, roughly 200 meters from the Sirok Sokak — the long pedestrian bazaar that forms Bitola's social and commercial spine. The hotel takes its name from Épinal, the French city with which Bitola shares a historic cultural connection from the late Ottoman period, when European consulates operated in the city.
