The interior is maintained with carpeted corridors, a functioning lift, and rooms that reliably deliver hot water and heating — two practical details that distinguish it from some smaller properties. Rooms are twin-bedded standard units with private bathrooms; furnishings are dated but functional, and windows are double-glazed against Pyongyang's cold winters. The hotel operates two dining spaces: a main restaurant offering Korean-Chinese fusion menus at group breakfast and dinner, and a smaller room used for lighter lunches. Beer on tap — Taedonggang or Ryongsong brands — is available through meals and at the lobby bar. Kitchen staff can accommodate basic dietary requests such as vegetarian or no-spice when communicated via the tour guide at least one day in advance. A small exercise room with basic equipment occupies one upper floor. No pool or spa is present.
