Novotel Monte Carlo stands on Boulevard Princesse Charlotte, one of the principality's central commercial arteries, approximately 700 metres from Casino Square and a five-minute walk from Monaco-Monte-Carlo train station. The hotel is within comfortable walking distance of Port Hercules, the Jardin Exotique, and Monaco's main shopping streets, making it a practical central-Monaco base for guests who do not require the palace-hotel experience.

The hotel was constructed in the late 2000s as part of Accor's Novotel expansion and is a purpose-built, contemporary property. The design is functional and modern, delivering the brand's standard features — comfortable rooms, efficient service, and family-adapted facilities — within Monaco's built environment. It is one of the few purpose-built mid-range hotels in the principality.

The 218 rooms are configured to Novotel's family-friendly specification, with rooms accommodating up to two adults and two children under 16 at no additional charge. All rooms have flat-screen televisions, work desks, air conditioning, and free WiFi. Family rooms with bunk configurations for children are available.

Les Étoiles restaurant on the ground floor serves a full breakfast buffet and evening meals with a menu of French and international dishes. A bar with lighter options operates throughout the day.

The rooftop terrace, accessed from the upper floor, has a seasonal outdoor pool and sun deck with panoramic views across Monaco toward the Mediterranean. The terrace is one of the hotel's principal draws during summer months.

Business facilities include a small meeting room and business centre, making the hotel equally practical for corporate travelers attending events at the Grimaldi Forum or the Monaco Country Club. The hotel participates in Accor's ALL loyalty programme.
