Cervecería San Blas

Cervecería San Blas is a small craft beer taproom on Av. Juárez near the central plaza of San Blas, a quieter colonial-era port town on Nayarit's northern coast. The crowd is a mix of local residents, surfers passing through for the nearby breaks, and independent travelers exploring San Blas's historic center; the atmosphere is unpretentious and neighborhood-oriented, with no dress code beyond casual wear, and the age range skews from twenties through fifties.

There is no dedicated music programming -- the taproom typically plays low-volume recorded music, mostly classic rock and regional Mexican genres, that stays secondary to conversation. The drinks programme is entirely beer-focused: a rotating selection of Mexican craft beers alongside a handful of imported options, served in a compact taproom setting; food is limited to simple snacks rather than a full kitchen. Prices are budget-friendly ($) even by San Blas standards.

Cervecería San Blas keeps limited hours compared to Sayulita or Bucerías venues, open Wednesday through Sunday from 5PM to 11PM and closed Monday and Tuesday. The taproom is busiest in the early evening, from around 6PM to 9PM, as locals stop by after work and travelers wind down after a day at the beach or exploring San Blas's colonial architecture and nearby mangroves. There is no cover charge. Reservations are not applicable given the small, informal taproom format, and there is no bottle-service offering -- beers are ordered individually at the bar.
