Casa Kimberly occupies two adjoining colonial houses on Calle Zaragoza in Puerto Vallarta's El Centro district, originally purchased in the 1960s by Richard Burton as a gift to Elizabeth Taylor and connected by a now-iconic pink arched bridge above the cobblestone street.

Once the private residence of Elizabeth Taylor and Richard Burton, this legendary boutique hotel in Puerto Vallarta's Old Town has been meticulously restored to its 1960s Hollywood glamour. The 10 unique suites are decorated with original artwork, and the rooftop infinity pool and Iguana restaurant are icons of the city.

After the couple sold the property, it passed through several owners before a meticulous restoration returned it to operation as a boutique hotel in 2015, repairing original tile floors, ironwork balconies, and hand-painted murals while adding climate control, high-speed internet, and contemporary bathrooms throughout.

The hotel comprises just 10 suites, each named and individually designed with original Mexican artwork, custom furniture, and period furnishings that evoke the Taylor-Burton era without becoming a period recreation. The Elizabeth Taylor Suite occupies the most historically significant space and retains the sitting room configuration the actress used during her stays. Butler service is standard across all room categories.

On the rooftop, an infinity-edge plunge pool frames an unobstructed view over the church towers and terracotta rooftops of Old Town to Banderas Bay. The Iguana Restaurant below serves breakfast and dinner with a menu grounded in Mexican coastal cuisine, drawing on local seafood and Jalisco ingredients. The bar stocks an extensive mezcal and tequila selection emphasizing small Jalisco producers.

The location in El Centro places guests within five minutes on foot of the Church of Our Lady of Guadalupe, the Malecón boardwalk, and the Zona Romántica's gallery and restaurant corridor. The narrow cobblestone streets mean guests should arrive by taxi; personal vehicles are not practical in this neighborhood.
