Feria de Tecomán (Feria del Limón) Grounds

The Recinto Ferial in Tecomán hosts the annual Feria de Tecomán, widely known as the Feria del Limón, celebrating the region's status as one of Mexico's largest producers of Persian limes. For about two weeks each January into February, the grounds fill with agricultural and commercial exhibits, carnival rides, food stalls, regional music and dance performances, and cockfighting and charreada events typical of Mexican regional fairs. Outside fair dates, the grounds function as a general event space and see comparatively little visitor activity. During the fair, a visit typically runs two to four hours, covering the exhibit halls, food vendors, and evening entertainment; the busiest, most atmospheric hours are evenings, when the fairground lighting, concerts, and crowds are at their peak. The fair draws visitors from across Colima state and neighboring Jalisco, making weekend evenings during the event the most crowded, while weekday afternoons offer a calmer visit to the exhibit halls.
