Manzanillo Deep-Sea Sailfish Fishing Charter

Deep-sea sailfish fishing charters depart from Marina Las Hadas and other Manzanillo marinas, targeting the striped and Pacific sailfish that have earned Manzanillo Bay its reputation as the self-proclaimed 'Sailfish Capital of the World.' Boats also raise dorado, marlin, tuna and roosterfish depending on the season. No fishing license or prior offshore experience is required; captains and mates handle rigging, bait and boat positioning, making the charter accessible to first-time anglers as well as seasoned sport fishermen. Children are welcome aboard most boats, though operators generally recommend the outing for anglers old enough to handle a rod safely, typically age 6 and up with adult supervision. Charters include rods, reels, tackle, bait and ice for the catch; anglers should bring their own sun protection, motion-sickness medication if prone to seasickness, non-slip deck shoes and a change of clothes.
