Saltillo Cabrito and Mercado Juárez Walking Tour

The route begins at Plaza de Armas in Zona Centro, passing the Cathedral of Santiago before continuing on foot to Mercado Juárez a few blocks away, ending at a traditional dulcería in the same district. Across roughly four stops, the tour balances savory and sweet: a plated cabrito tasting at a family-run restaurant anchors the savory portion, followed by pan de pulque and dulces de leche sampled directly from market stalls, and closing with jamoncillo and rollo de nuez at the candy shop. The price includes all tastings at each stop, market entry, and the guide's walking commentary on Saltillo's cattle-ranching and sarape-weaving history; it does not include alcoholic drinks, transport to or from the meeting point, or gratuities.
