Perched on a rise overlooking the strait, the property's architecture emphasizes panoramic sea views from nearly every vantage point, pairing a boutique scale with a higher level of personal service than is typical at Naruto's bigger properties. Guest rooms are split between Sea View Rooms and Suites, each designed to maximize the outlook over the strait and, on clear days, toward the Onaruto Bridge. The hotel's sea-view hot spring bath is its centerpiece, an open-air bathing area positioned to take in the strait below, considered one of the more scenic onsen settings in the Naruto area given the elevation and unobstructed views. Dinner is served as a kaiseki course built around local seafood, capitalizing on the strait's reputation for fish and shellfish shaped by its fast tidal currents; meals are typically taken in a private setting given the property's small size. There is no pool, spa treatment menu, or fitness facility beyond the bathing area, and the hotel does not attempt to compete with larger resorts on amenities, instead focusing on the views, the bath, and the seafood-driven dinner. Free parking accommodates most guests arriving by car, since the hilltop position is a short drive rather than a walk from central Naruto. Because of its small room count, the property books out quickly, particularly around peak whirlpool-viewing seasons in spring and autumn when tidal conditions produce the strongest visible whirlpools nearby.
