Saitama Super Arena is a large multipurpose venue in Saitama's Shintoshin district known for its distinctive movable seating system, which allows the main hall to reconfigure between a compact arena for basketball or boxing and a much larger stadium-style space for concerts, seating up to around 37,000 in its largest configuration. Crowds are entirely event-dependent; a major concert or sold-out sports match brings dense crowds around the station exits before and after, while the plaza is quiet on non-event days.
