Tobihino-yado Sanjuan occupies a small guesthouse building in the Kasugano district on the northeastern fringe of Nara's central area, roughly 600 metres south of Nara Park's formal boundary and within walking range of Kasuga Grand Shrine. The property's name translates loosely as a reference to three harmonies within the setting of the soaring deer of the nearby park. The surrounding Takahata neighbourhood is predominantly residential, giving the property a quieter character than hotels clustered near the two main station precincts to the west.

The accommodation offers three room configurations: a traditional Japanese-style tatami room with futon bedding, a Western-style room with raised beds, and a hybrid room blending a low sitting area with a standard bed. All rooms are compact and arranged around a small interior courtyard garden visible from the ground-floor corridor. A paid Japanese breakfast — a simple set — is available each morning and served in a shared dining space overlooking the courtyard. No evening restaurant or bar operates on-site.

The property operates bicycle rental and provides printed walking maps of Naramachi and the park circuit. WiFi covers the entire building. Several small cafés and traditional restaurants are accessible within a 10-minute walk south toward Naramachi.
