The kitchen specializes in kedjenou, the slow-simmered Ivorian stew cooked without added water in a sealed clay or metal pot, and the menu draws a firm distinction between kedjenou de pintade (guinea fowl) and kedjenou de poulet (chicken), both served with the concentrated, peppery sauce that defines the dish. Prices are moderate for Le Plateau, running 8,000 to 18,000 XOF per person, keeping it accessible relative to some of the district's newer fine-dining openings while retaining its reputation as one of the standard reference points for kedjenou in central Abidjan.
