Palermo travel guide: where to stay, what to do, and where to eat in Palermo, Sicily, Italy.

Palermo nightlife is informal, social and mostly outdoors, spread across a few walkable zones: the Kalsa and Piazza Marina, the old Vucciria market quarter, Via Candelai near Quattro Canti, and the smarter Politeama district. In summer the scene also moves to Mondello, 11 km north, and to the Foro Italico seafront.

Evenings start with aperitivo from about 6PM, dinner around 8:30PM–10PM, and bars stay busy until about 2AM. Street food in Vucciria and Ballarò keeps the lanes busy into the night. Clubs open late, with doors from about 11PM and dancing to 3AM–4AM on Thursday to Saturday.
