Lake Viverone, a shallow glacial lake straddling Biella, Vercelli and Turin provinces, warms quickly in summer and has Piedmont's longest-established lido scene. The Viverone lido offers grass lawns, a sandy-gravel shore, watersports and a string of lakeside bars, with windsurfing and sailing on the open water and a relaxed family-resort atmosphere.
