Campitello Matese is Molise's main alpine ski resort, sitting at around 1,400–1,900 m on the slopes of Monte Miletto. A network of lifts and pistes ranging from gentle nursery runs to steeper red descents makes it the principal downhill centre of the southern Apennines, with ski schools and equipment hire on site.
