Baia Imperiale

Baia Imperiale is one of the largest and most famous nightclubs in Italy, set on the panoramic headland above Gabicce Mare, where the Marche coast meets the cliffs toward Gabicce Monte at the northern edge of the region. Renowned for its spectacular Roman-imperial theme of marble columns, statues and grand staircases, the club is the heir to the legendary Baia degli Angeli that opened on this site in 1975, reborn as Baia Imperiale in 1985, and it has been a temple of summer clubbing on the Adriatic Riviera ever since. The venue is vast, arranged across multiple themed environments, including the Sala del Senato, Lo Zodiaco, the Sala delle Piscine with its pools and the panoramic Terrazza, each running its own atmosphere so that thousands of clubbers can move between spaces in a single night. The crowd is predominantly young, students and twenty-somethings holidaying on the coast, and the atmosphere is high-energy and immersive, built around lights, sound and a packed peak-hour floor. Dress is club-smart, and the door can be selective on the busiest nights, so dressing the part and arriving with a mixed group helps. Musically the programming spans commercial, house and dance with guest DJs and themed events, and the famous columned environments are the focal point. Drinks run to spirits, mixers, beer and bottle service at resort-club prices, with cover typically in the EUR 20 to 30 and up range depending on the night and headliner, often including a first drink.
