MH Design Hotel

MH Design Hotel is a three-star hotel at Via Chiaia 245, in the Chiaia district of Naples, Campania, Italy. Via Chiaia is one of the city's best-known shopping streets, running from the edge of Piazza Trieste e Trento down toward the elegant Chiaia neighbourhood and the Riviera di Chiaia seafront. The hotel stands close to Piazza Plebiscito, Galleria Umberto I and Teatro San Carlo, which makes it a convenient base for the monumental core of the city, while the Lungomare and the Villa Comunale gardens are a short walk to the west. Toledo and Municipio stations of Metro Line 1 can be reached on foot, and the Molo Beverello ferry port lies a short distance to the east. The hotel describes itself as a design hotel, and the interiors favour a contemporary look inside a traditional Neapolitan building, giving a stylish and affordable alternative to the larger four-star properties nearby. Room types include double rooms and triple rooms, all with air conditioning and wifi. A breakfast room serves the morning meal, with coffee and pastries in the Italian style. The Chiaia district is known for its cafes, wine bars and restaurants, and the area around Via Chiaia and Piazza dei Martiri offers many options for lunch, aperitivo and dinner, from traditional trattorie to refined seafood. No spa, pool or on-site restaurant is listed. Service is straightforward and suits independent travellers. Rates run from about 70 to 140 euros per night, depending on season and room type. The phone number listed for the property is +39 081 1957 1576. Via Chiaia is busy during the day and the evening passeggiata, so rooms facing the street may pick up noise. The hotel suits couples, small groups and shoppers who want a central, good-value base in one of the more refined parts of Naples.
