Tel Aviv Nightlife Guide 2026

After dark in Tel Aviv: the districts, bars, and venues that define the night — and when they peak.

Tel Aviv has 9+ bars and nightlife spots covered in this guide, led by Imperial Craft Cocktail Bar, Kuli Alma and Bellboy Bar. Each entry below includes the practical details — what it costs, when to go, and how to plan around it.

Tel Aviv-Yafo is Israel's coastal commercial and cultural capital, home to about 475,000 people in the city and about 4 million in the wider Gush Dan metro. It combines the Bauhaus-style White City (a UNESCO World Heritage Site), 14 km of Mediterranean beaches, the ancient port of Jaffa, the Carmel Market and a restaurant, cafe and nightlife scene that runs through the night, including on Friday evenings.

Tel Aviv is Israel's nightlife capital and one of the busiest after-dark cities in the Mediterranean. Bars on Rothschild Boulevard, Lilienblum and Allenby fill from 9PM, clubs around the Central Bus Station and the Tel Aviv Port start at midnight and run until sunrise, and Jaffa's flea-market lanes mix bars with live music. The city does not close for Shabbat: Friday and Saturday nights are among the biggest of the week, while Sunday to Thursday are normal working nights. Regular public transport stops from before sunset on Friday until after nightfall on Saturday, so plan taxi or ride-hail rides (Gett, Yango) back to the hotel.

Varied, social and late: cocktail speakeasies, natural-wine bars, dive bars, live-music rooms and world-class techno clubs, with a large LGBTQ+ scene. Most clubs peak between 1:00AM and 5:00AM.

Nightlife tips

Stay safe and have fun.

Tip

Reserve via Ontopo (ontopo.com) or Instagram for Shalvata, Imperial and Bellboy on Thursday and Friday.

Tip

Take a Gett or Yango taxi after midnight; regular buses do not run through the night and do not run at all on Shabbat.

Tip

Carry your passport or a photo ID; clubs often check IDs and security searches bags.

Tip

Pre-drink at a bar on Rothschild or Lilienblum, arrive at clubs after 12:30AM and expect to queue.

Tip

Drink water: dehydration in the Tel Aviv summer heat and humidity catches out first-time visitors.

Tip

Tel Aviv is among the safer large cities at night, but watch drinks and phones in crowds and avoid the area around the Central Bus Station alone late at night.
