The Westbury Hotel

The Westbury Hotel sits on Grafton Street in Dublin 2, occupying a prominent position at the top of Dublin's premier pedestrian shopping thoroughfare. The hotel is steps from Brown Thomas and Marks & Spencer, a three-minute walk from St Stephen's Green, and under ten minutes on foot from Trinity College. The LUAS Green Line stop at St Stephen's Green is a four-minute walk; the DART at Pearse Station is about twelve minutes.

The Westbury opened in 1984 and has been managed by the Doyle Collection since its founding. A major refurbishment completed in 2018 overhauled the interiors throughout, introducing a contemporary palette of warm tones, Irish artisan craftsmanship details, and custom-commissioned artwork. The hotel's mezzanine gallery level — an open seating area above the ground-floor lobby — remains one of Dublin's favourite informal meeting points for afternoon drinks and coffee.

The hotel has 205 rooms and suites, ranging from Deluxe rooms of approximately 35 square metres to a Penthouse Suite on the upper floors. All rooms carry the post-refurbishment aesthetic: soft greys and greens, marble bathrooms, and handmade Irish linens. Upper-floor rooms on the Grafton Street side offer views across the Dublin roofline.

Dining centres on Balfes, an all-day brasserie and bar on the ground floor serving breakfast, lunch, dinner, and cocktails. The wine list is broad and the cocktail programme draws a local after-work crowd in the early evenings. A dedicated afternoon tea service operates daily.

The Westbury Spa on the lower ground floor offers a range of beauty treatments and massage therapies, complemented by a fully equipped gym. There is no on-site swimming pool.
