Powerscourt Hotel Resort & Spa is set within the grounds of the Powerscourt Estate in Enniskerry, County Wicklow, approximately 25 kilometres south of Dublin city centre. The drive from Dublin takes around 40 minutes via the M50 and N11. The hotel building is purpose-built in a Palladian Revival style, completed in 2007, and designed to complement the estate's historic house (which is a separate admission attraction). The architectural scale is grand: a 200-room property with a double-height entrance hall, stone floors, and proportions suited to the mountain backdrop. Despite its size, the interior maintains a warm residential tone through extensive use of natural materials, open fires in the public rooms, and locally commissioned artwork.

Dining is anchored by McGill's Restaurant, which serves modern European cuisine using estate-grown and Irish-sourced ingredients, and the Sugar Loaf Club, a more casual lounge-bar option. A private dining room is available for groups.
The Sika Spa is one of the largest resort spas in Ireland, covering 3,500 square metres. Facilities include a 20-metre indoor pool, hydrotherapy pool, outdoor Canadian hot tub, multiple saunas and steam rooms, and 18 treatment rooms offering ESPA products. A separate gym and indoor tennis courts complete the wellness offering.
Powerscourt Golf Club, adjacent to the estate, offers two championship courses (the East Course by Peter McEvoy, the West by David McLay Kidd), with preferred tee times typically available for hotel guests.
