A star-shaped man-made lake created in 1863 at the center of Kodaikanal hill station, offering paddle boating, kayaking, horse rides along the 5km lakeside promenade, and cycling. Surrounded by eucalyptus trees and rolling hills, the lake is particularly beautiful in the early morning mist.
