Umaid Bhawan Palace is one of the world's largest private residences, built between 1929 and 1943. Part of the palace operates as a luxury Taj hotel, but the museum wing is open to the public showcasing an extensive collection of vintage cars, clocks, trophies, photographs, and royal memorabilia of the Jodhpur royal family. The Art Deco architecture is unique among Rajasthan's Rajput-style buildings.
