Junagarh Fort in Bikaner is one of Rajasthan's most impressive forts that was never conquered and has never been abandoned. Built between 1589 and 1594 by Raja Rai Singh, the fort contains 37 palaces and temples, each built over different eras and showcasing a blend of Rajput, Mughal, and European architectural influences. The fort's museums house an excellent collection of royal weapons, manuscripts, and royal paraphernalia.
