Jantar Mantar is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the world's largest and best-preserved stone observatories, built by Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh II between 1724 and 1734. The observatory contains 19 massive astronomical instruments used to measure time, predict eclipses, and track celestial bodies with remarkable accuracy. The giant Samrat Yantra sundial can still tell time accurate to within two seconds.
