Hotel Kohinoor Continental has served the Andheri East business corridor for decades and remains one of the better-value four-star options near the airport. The building fronts the Andheri-Kurla Road roughly a minute's walk from Chakala metro station, which gives direct rail access west to Andheri and Versova and removes the need to sit in road traffic. Rooms are conventional and comfortably equipped, with executive categories adding more space and work areas, and the renovated floors are noticeably fresher than the older stock. Facilities are practical rather than resort-like: a fitness room, a business centre, laundry and a banquet hall that handles the steady stream of weddings and corporate events from the surrounding office parks. The multi-cuisine restaurant covers Indian, Chinese and Continental dishes, and there is a coffee shop and bar. Both airport terminals are within a ten to twenty minute drive, and airport transfers can be arranged with the hotel. The SEEPZ and MIDC business districts and the Andheri commercial strip are the main draws in the immediate area rather than sightseeing.
