A UNESCO-listed archaeological site on the bank of the Kushavati River in South Goa, Usgalimal contains prehistoric petroglyphs (rock carvings) estimated to be 20,000-30,000 years old. The carvings depict animals, humans, and geometric patterns and are only visible during dry season when the river recedes.
