A UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the finest examples of baroque architecture in India, the Basilica of Bom Jesus holds the sacred remains of St. Francis Xavier in an ornate silver casket. Built in 1605, its gilded interior and Renaissance façade make it the most visited monument in Goa.
