Sanjay Van Forest Trail

The forested paths are shaded even in summer mornings and wildlife includes jackals, nilgai, and over 150 bird species.

Asola Bhatti Wildlife Sanctuary Trail

Delhi's only wildlife sanctuary, straddling the Delhi-Haryana border on the Aravalli ridgeline. Rocky terrain with exposed quartzite outcrops, remnant dry deciduous forest, and grassland patches. The sanctuary is home to leopards (rare sightings), jackals, mongooses, and over 200 bird species. Rugged paths give the feeling of a genuine wilderness walk despite proximity to the city.

Yamuna Biodiversity Park Walk

A flat nature walk along the Yamuna floodplain, through restored wetlands, grasslands, and riparian woodland. The park is one of Delhi's best spots for winter migratory birds, with over 220 species recorded. Two phases of the park provide distinct habitats — Phase 1 (Wazirabad) focuses on grassland and wetland restoration.

Central Ridge Nature Walk

A shaded nature walk through the 864-acre Central Ridge Reserved Forest, one of the oldest protected forests in Delhi. The trail passes through dense canopy of dhau, kanju, and vilayati kikar trees. An unlikely wilderness in the heart of Lutyens' Delhi, the forest harbours rhesus monkeys, peacocks, jackals, and numerous bird species.

Damdama Lake Trail

A scenic trail circumnavigating Damdama Lake, one of Haryana's largest natural lakes and a popular Delhi weekend escape.
