Haryana's largest natural lake, set among gentle Aravalli foothills 65km south of Delhi. A popular weekend escape from the capital, Damdama Lake (managed by Haryana Tourism) offers boating, rock climbing, a 5km lakeside nature trail, and camping. The rock formations around the lake attract both serious climbers and beginners. In winter (November-February) migratory birds add a birdwatching dimension.
