Monemvasia Rock at Sunrise
From the causeway viewpoint, the sea rock glows amber at sunrise. Best with a tripod and graduated ND filter.

Lion Gate, Mycenae
The 3,200-year-old Lion Gate photographed best with morning light from the east. Wide-angle 24mm for the full gate framing.

Voidokilia Beach from the Dunes
The perfect circular lagoon viewed from the dune ridge above. A drone gives the full omega-shape lagoon aerial, but the view from the dune crest is outstanding even on foot.
Best time: Late afternoon 17:00–19:00
Nafplio Harbor and Bourtzi at Blue Hour
Bourtzi island fortress lit against the darkening water from the Bouboulinas promenade. Long exposure (4–15 sec) for mirror-smooth water.
Best time: Blue hour 20–30 min after sunset
Mani Tower Houses — Vathia Village
The densest cluster of Mani tower houses in Greece. Warm afternoon light rakes across the stone towers dramatically. Telephoto for compressed tower compositions.
Best time: Late afternoon 16:00–18:30 for raking sidelight on towers
Epidaurus Theater — Geometry and Scale
The perfect geometric arc of 55 rows of limestone seats. Wide-angle from the top rows captures the full theater; telephoto from the orchestra compresses the stone tiers.
Best time: Morning 08:00–09:30 for crowd-free shots; evenings during Festival for performance shots
Palamidi Fortress at Golden Hour
The fortress walls lit golden above Nafplio Bay and the Argolic Gulf. Best from the road below or from the battlements themselves using a telephoto toward Nafplio town.
Best time: Golden hour 1 hr before sunset
Lousios Gorge Cliff Monasteries
Monastery of Prodromos clings to a sheer cliff 150 m above the gorge floor. A telephoto (100–400mm) from the opposite side of the gorge gives the most dramatic shot.
Best time: Morning for mist; late afternoon for monastery in last light
