Hotel Varonos is a family-run budget hotel on Pavlou & Friderikis Street, the main pedestrian road through modern Delphi village, positioned at the western end of the thoroughfare with an unobstructed panoramic terrace overlooking the Pleistos Valley and the olive-grove plain extending toward the Gulf of Corinth. The Archaeological Site of Delphi is approximately 400 metres on foot — a direct ten-minute walk to the Sanctuary of Apollo, the Treasury of the Athenians, and the Delphi Museum.

The property is a modest three-storey stone-clad building that has served travellers since the 1970s. It occupies a value-anchor position in the Delphi accommodation market: practical, clean, and straightforwardly run without pretension. The hotel's primary asset is its wide open terrace, where guests can take coffee or meals while looking out across one of the most dramatic panoramas in central Greece — the same valley the Delphic Oracle's pilgrims once traversed below.

Room types include Singles, Doubles, Triples, and Family Rooms, all with basic furnishings, air conditioning, and free Wi-Fi. Family rooms sleep up to four and are frequently booked by visitors travelling with children. There is no on-site restaurant, but village tavernas and cafés are within a two-minute walk on the same street. The terrace, however, is well-suited to picnic-style meals assembled from the local market.

Parking is available on village streets nearby; the hotel has no dedicated car park. The front desk staff speak English and can help with excursion bookings, shared taxi arrangements to Arachova (20 km east) or the Corycian Cave, and referrals for guided archaeological tours. This is the most budget-accessible option in Delphi with a genuine valley view.
